Very near the train station and very near the centre and still at a low price! Staff are very friendly and available 24h/24. The cleaning lady was also very friendly. Got a map that was very useful. The room is kept very clean. The air conditioning works fast. There is even a mosquito repellent device, which luckily I did not need. Breakfast was nice too. All 15 rooms are on the same floor and the access to the floor is guarded always, such that you can leave your stuff in your room confident that it will not disappear...

I loooooved the staff! The boy at the reception was really amazingly helpful and nice. The location of the place is really good, walking distance from everything. The rooms were very simple but clean and towels were changed daily.

The hotel did not have a lift so dragging the luggage up the stairs was not fun. One night I woke up because the man at the reception (probably the owner) was yelling on the phone in the middle of the night - my parents woke up because another guest was screaming through the night. So the walls are probably paper thin... Be sure to bring ear plugs, just in case. Also, no hair dryer. The breakfast was very modest.

Very uncomfortable bed or mattress, once slept there, back pain for 3 days. At night it is impossible to sleep - on the street permanently very noisy, even with closed window. Air Conditioning terrible, I think it does not work good - at night it is very noise in the room.

i didn't like the bathroom it was too small. the shower was on top of the toilet. but it's not too bad if you are not expecting for luxury.

The room price is comparatively low during the fashion festival 2011. Room size and hotel location is fine.

Very old decorated and lack of maintenance. Pictures on the website should have been taken many years ago. No lift and dark stairs. The toilet floor will become flooding and wet after bath. No choice breakfast and even no toast. Soundproofing is bad.

Our room was large and clean. The bedding was good quality and the beds were made and clean towels provided daily. Our room was quiet. There is no wifi in the room but is available in the lobby. The breakfast room is very pretty and we enjoyed the breakfast. The young man looking after the desk on Thursday and Friday was exceptionally nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Close to train and bus station as well as museums and other sights. Quite a few stairs to access so not suited to physically disabled. Very nice place.

The hotel staff are very kind, friendly and helpful, always ready to help you with anything you need to know. The reception is open 24/7. The location was very handy, just about 500 metres / 8 minutes from the Duomo and shops. For being so close to the centre it is a very good place for people with tight budget. I would recommend this hotel to younger people who do not have big expectations.

The photographer who took the photos of the rooms must be a magicians. The room in the picture looks quite generous in size, however, our room was hardly more than 3,5x2,5m. The bathroom was incredibly small. While sitting on the toilet you have to leave the bathroom door open because your legs just would fit it. So I wouldnt recommend this hotel to "bigger" people. Maybe I would not quite call it a hotel, maybe a B&B or a better version of a hostel would suit it more. In addition, I did not quite like the building in which the hotel is situated as there is no lift and it is on the second floor. Might be a problem for older people or those with heavy luggage.

We had a bathroom with the toilet in the shower. It wasnt that bad but also not very comfortable. (just a few rooms have this, most of the rooms not)

Great location - just a short walk to the historical centre of Florence, and main train station at walking distance. Clean rooms and friendly host.

Very unconformable bed. The bed-frame does not hold the mattress properly and after 15min you end up sinking into the hole in the middle. Changing a room did not solve a problem. Room itself - small and simple but clean. Bathrooms very tiny!

cheap, nice breakfast, comfortable bad, room is warm in the winter.

I like the fact it was central and near transport ie Bus terminal, train terminal.Also close to the city site and shops

Lovely staff, very central and clean. I got a really good price through my travel agency. I would have enjoyed tea/coffee facilities and access to some ice. The lack of an elevator was also a problem since most of your guests would have luggage.

The location is great. It is close to Santa Maria Novella train station (10 minutes walk) and also to the Dom (10-15 minutes walk). The neighborhood is nice - you are safe at late hours, though is a little bit noisy. The hotel is clean and staff is very nice. Fair value for money.
